Licence Information

Eleven One Media LLC · Qatar Financial Centre Registration No. 4312 · Doha, State of Qatar

Version 1.0 · 2 September 2026

This Licence Information explains the general licensing framework for photographs, video, audiovisual material, editorial text and other media content made available by Eleven One Media. The specific licence shown on an asset page, order confirmation, invoice, enterprise agreement or other written agreement will control if it differs from this general information.

Operator: Eleven One Media LLC, a limited liability company incorporated and registered in the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), Doha, State of Qatar, QFC Registration No. 4312. Founder & CEO / authorised legal representative: Mr. Redha Hosni Seggani.

1. What a Licence Means

A licence gives the customer a defined right to use selected content. It does not transfer ownership of the copyright, the original file, the contributor relationship, the Eleven One Media brand, or any other intellectual-property right unless an express written agreement states otherwise.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved. A licence is limited by the permitted purpose, media, territory, duration, number of uses, audience or circulation, resolution, client, project and any other restriction stated at the time of purchase or in the applicable agreement.

2. Who May Own the Content

Content may be owned by Eleven One Media, an individual photographer, journalist, videographer or other contributor, a partner agency, or another rights holder. Eleven One Media licenses content only to the extent of the rights it holds or is authorised to license.

Unless a contributor agreement provides for an assignment of copyright, the underlying copyright may remain with the creator or other rights holder while Eleven One Media receives the contractual rights required to distribute and license the content.

3. Main Licence Categories

Important: The exact rights granted for any asset are those shown at checkout, on the asset page, in the invoice, order confirmation or applicable written agreement. Eleven One Media may introduce additional licence types or packages as its services evolve.

4. Editorial Use

Editorial use means use in a factual, newsworthy, educational, documentary, cultural or public-interest context, such as news reporting, current affairs, sports coverage, politics, society, culture, entertainment reporting, history, science, education or similar informational content.

Editorial content must not be used in a way that falsely suggests that a person, organisation, team, venue, brand, government entity or other subject endorses a product, service, political message or commercial campaign.

Unless expressly authorised, editorial content may not be used in advertising, merchandising, product packaging, promotional campaigns, endorsements, brand sponsorships, commercial templates or other uses whose primary purpose is to promote or sell a product, service or organisation.

5. Commercial Use

Commercial use includes advertising, marketing, product promotion, corporate promotion, merchandising, packaging, sponsored campaigns and other uses intended to promote goods, services, brands or organisations.

A Commercial Licence is available only when Eleven One Media identifies the content as eligible for commercial licensing or confirms the proposed commercial use in writing. The customer remains responsible for determining whether model releases, property releases, trademark permissions, location permissions, music rights, artwork rights or other third-party clearances are required for the proposed use.

Content labelled or reasonably understood to be editorial-only must not be used commercially unless Eleven One Media expressly confirms that the necessary rights for the proposed use have been cleared.

6. Rights Managed and Custom Restrictions

Where a licence is designated as Rights Managed, project-specific, limited or custom, the licence applies only to the use described in the order, invoice or written agreement. A new publication, campaign, edition, platform, territory, language, client or substantially different use may require a new licence.

Enterprise, syndication, archive, broadcast, API, bulk-download, redistribution, white-label, resale, exclusive or high-volume uses require a separate written agreement unless expressly included in the purchased licence.

7. Downloads, Accounts and File Security

A download does not itself grant broader rights than the licence attached to that content. Preview files, watermarked files, thumbnails and low-resolution files may be used only for evaluation, comping or other expressly permitted purposes and may not be published unless the applicable licence allows publication.

Account credentials, download links and high-resolution source files must not be shared with unauthorised persons. Customers must take reasonable steps to prevent extraction, scraping, copying or redistribution of licensed files beyond the scope of the licence.

8. Credit and Attribution

Where a credit is required, the credit line must follow the form specified on the asset page, metadata, invoice or licence. Unless otherwise stated, an editorial credit should identify Eleven One Media and the photographer, creator or source where provided.

A typical format may be: “Eleven One Media / Photographer Name”. Alternative credit wording supplied with the content must be followed. Removal or alteration of embedded copyright information, credits, watermarks or rights-management information is prohibited except where the licence expressly permits it.

9. Editing and Integrity of Content

Customers may make ordinary technical adjustments necessary for lawful publication, such as proportionate cropping, resizing, colour correction or formatting, provided that the edit does not materially distort the meaning of the content, misrepresent the event or subject, or create a false or defamatory impression.

Editorial photographs and videos must not be materially manipulated in a way that changes the factual meaning of the scene. Generative additions, removals, substitutions or synthetic alterations that materially change editorial content are prohibited unless the content is clearly designated for a use where such alteration is expressly permitted by Eleven One Media and applicable law.

10. Prohibited Uses

Content may not be used unlawfully; in a defamatory, deceptive or misleading manner; to imply a false endorsement; to violate privacy, publicity, personality, copyright, trademark or other third-party rights; or in a manner that materially misrepresents the people, places, events or organisations depicted.

Content may not be resold, sublicensed, redistributed, made available as a standalone downloadable file, incorporated into a competing media library, dataset or stock-content service, used to train or develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems, or used for biometric identification or surveillance unless Eleven One Media has expressly authorised that use in writing.

Content may not be used as or incorporated into a trademark, service mark, logo or other source identifier without express written permission and all necessary rights clearances.

11. Releases and Third-Party Rights

Unless expressly stated otherwise, editorial content should be assumed not to include model releases or property releases. A licence from Eleven One Media does not automatically include rights in trademarks, logos, artworks, architecture, music, performances, sporting-event rights, venue rights or other third-party material depicted or recorded in the content.

The customer is responsible for assessing the proposed use and obtaining any additional permissions required by applicable law. Eleven One Media may provide information about known releases or restrictions but does not warrant that every third-party right required for a particular use has been cleared unless expressly stated in writing.

12. Captions, Metadata and Authenticity

Eleven One Media and its contributors seek to provide accurate captions, dates, locations, names, keywords and other metadata. Editorial information may be corrected or updated when new information becomes available. Unless expressly warranted in writing, metadata is provided in good faith and should be independently verified where the intended use is sensitive or high-risk.

Where Eleven One Media offers content that has been materially generated or modified using artificial intelligence, the agency may label that content accordingly. Authentic editorial photographs and video must comply with Eleven One Media editorial standards and contributor rules concerning manipulation and disclosure.

13. Licence Evidence and Compliance

Customers must retain the invoice, receipt, order confirmation or written licence agreement as evidence of the rights acquired. Eleven One Media may reasonably request information sufficient to verify compliance with a licence, including where and how licensed content has been published.

Use beyond the licence scope, publication without a valid licence, unauthorised redistribution, or continued use after a licence has expired or been terminated may constitute infringement or breach of contract and may result in suspension, additional licensing charges, claims for damages or other remedies available under applicable law.

14. Contributor and Agency Relationship

The licensing of a contributor’s content through Eleven One Media does not make that contributor an employee, officer, agent or legal representative of the company. Contributor status and licensing participation are governed by the applicable contributor agreement and Eleven One Media policies.

No contributor may represent that Eleven One Media has granted accreditation, assignment, sponsorship, travel authority or permission to attend an event unless Eleven One Media has provided prior written authorisation for that specific purpose.

15. Governing Framework

Eleven One Media LLC is incorporated and registered in the Qatar Financial Centre. Licences issued by Eleven One Media are subject to the governing-law and jurisdiction provisions stated in the applicable Terms & Conditions, order, invoice, enterprise agreement or other written contract, together with any mandatory law that applies to the transaction or use.

Where content is used in the United States or another jurisdiction, the customer must also comply with mandatory local laws applicable to that use, including copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark and other relevant rights.

16. Questions and Custom Licensing

Customers who require advertising rights, exclusivity, syndication, broadcast rights, API access, bulk licensing, archive access, multi-territory rights, extended circulation, commercial use of editorial content or any use not clearly covered by the standard licence should obtain written confirmation from Eleven One Media before publication.

Licensing enquiries should be submitted through the official Eleven One Media contact channels published on elevenone.media.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Before using content outside the scope shown in your licence, obtain written permission from Eleven One Media.
