Marco Rimola

From Monza — one of the world’s most iconic motorsport cities — to Gothenburg and the sporting arenas of Northern Europe, Marco Rimola has built a professional photographic career shaped by speed, precision, and international competition. An Italian sports photographer based in Sweden, Marco brings around 15 years of experience covering professional sport across Europe. He is a member of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) and has held permanent FIA World Rally Championship accreditation for the past four seasons. Motorsport stands at the heart of his work. His experience includes international rallying and circuit racing, with coverage spanning the FIA World Rally Championship, European Rally Championship, Formula 1, and other major motorsport events. His understanding of speed, movement, and rapidly changing conditions allows him to anticipate decisive moments and transform them into compelling editorial imagery. Beyond motorsport, Marco covers Swedish SHL and SDHL ice hockey, football, and a variety of other professional sports. His work takes him across Sweden, the Nordic region, and major sporting events throughout Europe. Working within demanding international media environments, Marco combines visual instinct with efficient editorial delivery. His professional workflow includes fast image selection, accurate IPTC metadata, and live image transmission, ensuring that high-quality photographs reach editors and media clients while the story is still unfolding. Marco joins the Eleven One Media international photography network from Gothenburg, strengthening the agency’s coverage of motorsport, Nordic sport, and major European competitions. From rally stages and racing circuits to ice hockey arenas and football stadiums, his photography captures the speed, intensity, atmosphere, and human emotion that define elite sport.
