Asma Barendji

From Algiers, a capital shaped by a strong journalistic tradition and an enduring passion for sport, Asma Barendji represents an emerging generation of Algerian sports media professionals bringing together journalism, digital storytelling, and audiovisual communication. With three years of professional experience, Asma has developed a versatile profile across sports reporting, news writing, interviews, field coverage, and original content production, supported by additional skills in voice-over and photography. Her strength lies in her ability to approach a story from more than one angle — writing the news, engaging with people, reporting from the field, and using voice and imagery to give the story greater depth and presence. Accredited for coverage of the Algerian League, she continues to build her experience within the competitive environment of Algerian football, where speed, accuracy, and a strong understanding of the sporting narrative are essential. Asma joins the Eleven One Media international network from Algiers, bringing a multimedia journalistic profile, a strong connection to the field, and the ambition to carry Algerian sports stories beyond their local audience and into a wider international media landscape.
